4t ESO DUBBING

3r ESO: UPDATING SPEAKING

Els alumnes de 3r d'ESO han simulat una conversa amb un conegut al qual feia temps que no veien, actualitzant informació sobre les seves vides. Compartim la tasca de la Meritxell Crespo, Irene Jiménez i Ari Sánchez així com la de la Gala Herrera  i l'Alexia Gómez.

2n ESO: BIOGRAPHIES

1r ESO: MY DAILY ROUTINE SPEAKING

 Els alumnes de 1r han realitzat la tasca d'Speaking del trimestre: explicar la seva rutina diària. Compartim les feines del Joan Pérez i de la Naiara Herraiz.

2n ESO: WRITING A STORY

Els alumnes de 2n d'ESO han creat textos a partir d'una introducció que deixava pas a la imaginació. Compartim les històries de l'Ona Royo i la Paula Soca.

ONA ROYO'S STORY

WRITING

It was a nice afternoon. A young man was sitting in a café drinking a coffee. Two tourists were taking pictures of the monument. My mum was looking at a shop window when suddenly my father got a phone call which said:

'Come to Santa’ Monica’s hospital now!'

After that my dad switched off the phone, turned to us and said:

'I have to go to the hospital, I’m sorry, go with your mother to the hospital and at night I will pick you up'.

Next, dad ran to the car and left us. I was very worried because my granny was very ill at that hospital. My mum and I were shocked and we didn’t know what to do. At night we went to the car. My dad was speeding at 200km/h, while he was in silence. When we arrived at the hospital, we ran to my granny’s room. I ran to the bed but mum and dad stopped me. Then I saw lot of lights and balloons.  When I turned my head to my granny, she hugged me and told me:

'Happy Birthday…'

After that all my family jumped from their hiding places while I was cying and everybody shouted:

'Happy Birthday!!'

I turned to my parents and I told them:

'You are crazy! I was very worried!'

PAULA SOCA'S STORY

It was a nice afternoon. A young man was sitting in a café drinking a coffee. Two tourists were taking pictures of the monument. My mum was looking at a shop window when suddenly my father got a phone call which said:

“Hello Fede! I’m Juan, your neighbour. I wanted to know if you had adopted a dog while I was on holiday”. My father was really surprised, we didn’t have any kind of animal in our house. We were very confused, we asked him if he had seen a policeman getting inside our house with a dog, but he hadn’t so we went back home.

When we arrived we found a random dog sleeping in our couch with a group of little puppies, they were so cute. We couldn’t keep them because my mom didn’t want to. Although she didn’t like animals very much then, now she loves them. So my sister and I asked Juan if he could keep them. Luckily, Juan loves dogs and he was so happy.

We made a deal and we decided that we could keep visiting the little puppies at least once a week.

4t ESO students have been working on The English Speaking Countries Project throughout the course.

We've been learning  about Ireland, Scotland, Wales,  Australia, South Africa, the USA and Canada: their history,  geography, traditions, food, famous people, sports ...

1r ESO: NATURAL SCIENCE

L'alumnat de la matèria optativa de Natural Science de 1r d'ESO ha realitzat el projecte The Five Senses on s'han treballat i experimentat els cinc sentits: el que veiem SIGHT, sentim HEARING, tastem TASTE, toquem TOUCH i olorem SMELL.

3r ESO: IMMERSIÓ LINGÜÍSTICA

LEARNING AND HAVING FUN!

Els alumnes de 3r d'ESO han realitzat la Immersió lingüística promuguda pel Departament d'Educació per a aquelles escoles GEP, Generació plurilingüe com la nostra, que impartim contingut de matèries no lingüístiques en anglès. Els alumnes s'han implicat en el joc i en l'aprenentatge i han demostrat un bon nivell de desenvolupament en anglès fora de l'aula.

 

Aquesta activitat forma part del programa d'orientació i reforç per a l'avanç i suport per a l'educació del Ministeri d'Educació  i Formació professional i està cofinançada pel Fons Social  Europeu 2014-2020.

   

4t ESO: IMMERSIÓ LINGÜÍSTICA

Els alumnes de 4t d'ESO han gaudit de l'Immersió lingüística organizada aquest curs per tal de facilitar al nostre alumnat un entorn de parla anglesa fora de l'ambient de l'aula. L'alumnat ha realizat l'activitat a la Vall d'en Bas en un paratge natural i proper. La participació activa dels nois i noies del curs ha permès fer una valoració molt positiva de la sortida.

Aquesta activitat forma part del programa d'orientació i reforç per a l'avanç i suport per a l'educació del Ministeri d'Educació  i Formació professional i està cofinançada pel Fons Social  Europeu 2014-2020.

   

2n ESO: THE APPLE OF DISCORD

Classical Culture students have been working the myths in this optional subject for 2n ESO. We played The Apple of Discord in class. For a while we felt like Zeus, Aphrodite, Athena, Hera and Paris in the episode that led to the Trojan War.

2n ESO: SCHOOLS IN THE FUTURE

Our 2n ESO students have been  writing about how you imagine schools in the future. Here you are some interesting ideas.

SCHOOLS IN THE FUTURE

First I want to believe that schools will exist in the future. I’m saying this because I cannot imagine how fast technology will grow.

In my opinion, schools will be really, really different from how we know them. What I mean is that people will want to make things easier, like a robot teacher, computers mobile phones and students might study harder than us, because if this happens they won’t have teachers who will explain them a thousand times the things students don’t understand. Exams, homework, tasks, exercises will be difficult and students won’t understand or learn.

And on the other hand, many students will prefer to study at home, which is worse than anything!

Finally, I wish students in the future learn like we usually do and don’t have to make all the tasks on a computer.

SCHOOLS 

I think that, in the future, students won't go to school every day, because there will be faster learning methods.

Probably, there will be online schools and  face to face schools, too. As I see it, if people learn faster, there will be more exams. A lot of homework will be online, because if they do it online, students won't have the excuse that they have forgotten the notebook at home or things like that. It's going to be better, because if we don't have to go to school every day, we will have more free days and do more things apart from studying.

 Finally, I think the education system will be better in the future.
